Sergeant “Scrapper” Samson is a policeman who is quite useful with his fists in the fight against crime. Each weeks not entirely serious adventure is introduced by Samson and through him we meet all types of nefarious criminals who soon learn that crime doesn’t pay and certainly not in Samson’s patch. The character in the second series moved onto being in charge of a police dog section. Sutherland was the artist for the first series, whilst Parlett provided the artwork for the second set of stories.
