A strip from The Victor
See The Victor 1195 (14th January, 1984) to 1205 (24th March, 1984).

Time period:- mid 1980's California, America.
Charlie is a travelling, restless young teenager drifter, who had a few problems at school. So when he has a run in with an eccentric millionaire known as the Bossman and damages one of his beach buggy’s, Charlie has a simple choice. Run a few errands to pay off the damage to the buggy or go to jail for 'stealing' the vehicle. (In fact Charlie didn't steal the buggy, he borrowed it so he could chase after some car thieves who had run him and his bike off the road). The choice is clear cut and simple. Besides how bad can these errands be? Having been sent into space, testing out a Bossman home for children and other dangerous errands, Charlie’s thinks it might have been better to have spent some time in jail.
Luckily, Charlie is a bright boy (despite whatever his school reports might have had to say) and his lighting fast thinking gets him out of any trouble he might find himself. The final episode in the series sees Charlie quitting. The Bossman doesn't mind, as he has already replaced Charlie, with a shapely, blonde female. Charlie when he realises that he has been replaced by a female, leaves in disgust.
The above image is of Charlie's replacement (issue 1205). Well, you can't blame the Bossman for sacking Charlie, under the circumstances!
